Trying not to laugh while my sister Ari explains a very serious cable‑management philosophy to me at the front desk.

There is something strangely grounding about standing here together, right inside the doors, watching our own space wake up and settle down every day. The LED strips, the quiet hum of the displays, the reflection on the floor, the whole foyer laid out like a puzzle we actually finished.

She is the first face people see. I am usually the one already thinking three steps ahead about how to fix whatever they brought in. Somewhere between those two roles, this place started to feel less like “the tech center” and more like a shared brain we accidentally built.

Late March outside. Cool light, restless clouds. Inside, just me, my sister, and a calm little universe that runs on curiosity, coffee, and “okay, but what if we tried it this way instead?”

owen-miles-holloway: You two have built a space that looks as dialed in as the way you work together, and that shows. Proud of how you and Ari turned a hallway with some LEDs into a real front door for your own shop. (3/26/2026, 12:48:27 PM)
marianne-owen-holloway: Thanks, Dad. Pretty sure the entrance only works this well because I grew up watching you turn random scrap and a workbench into actual spaces that function, so Ari and I are just continuing the tradition with more LEDs and fewer loose bolts. (3/26/2026, 12:57:10 PM)
caleb-miles-holloway: Mari this looks like the lobby of a spaceship and you and Ari are the captains letting people board with broken tech. When can I come hang out at the desk and be your unofficial little tech apprentice? (3/26/2026, 12:49:53 PM)
marianne-owen-holloway: You kind of nailed the vibe, not going to lie. If you finish your homework, you can come by Dynamic Duo on Saturday and help me at the Welcome Desk while Ari runs you through Intro to Not Breaking The Customer’s Laptop. (3/26/2026, 12:56:04 PM)
hanelle-lan-kim-sung: Obsessed with how you and Ari turned the foyer into this calm, sci fi check in zone that still feels super welcoming. This looks like the kind of entrance where your systems, signage, and smiles already solved 80% of the user journey before anyone even speaks. (3/26/2026, 12:51:39 PM)
marianne-owen-holloway: Hana that is exactly what we were going for quietly guiding people before they even hit the desk, so now I feel very seen. Ari handled most of the front facing flow and I obsessed over the micro copy and layout, so thanks for noticing the systems behind the smiles. (3/26/2026, 12:58:37 PM)
elizabeth-grace-holloway: Mari, I love how you and Ari have made the entrance feel both futuristic and genuinely welcoming, like people are stepping into a space you’ve thoughtfully designed for them, not just their devices. Proud of the care and calm you’ve built into every detail here. (3/26/2026, 12:53:03 PM)
marianne-owen-holloway: Thanks Mom, that means a lot coming from you, especially since you see so many different “entrances” at school every day. Ari and I wanted it to feel like people could exhale the second they walk in, even before we touch a single device. (3/26/2026, 12:58:18 PM)
