Mornings like this are my favorite kind of ordinary. Rain tapping on the windows, the kitchen alive with the smell of coffee and offbeat laughter from my daughter, Addie, and my husband, James. I keep thinking I’ll get better at making scones but honestly, the real recipe is just being together and letting the light in. If you zoom in, you’ll see crumbs everywhere and wildflowers trying to stand up straight. I like it that way.
