Home is when my sis nearly crushes me in the doorway and neither of us bothers to set down our bags first. Shoes half off, ink on my hands, just us and the leftover sunlight and about three different playlists leaking out of my pocket. Some people wait all day for this kind of chaos.

Pretty sure if you showed up after a coding sprint, Addie would tackle-hug you too. Chaos is better when it’s got snacks and friends, just saying.
How do we always end up hugging right in the doorway with our bags everywhere? This is my favorite kind of chaos.
Because if we made it to the kitchen, adults would expect us to actually participate in the day. Definitely choosing hugs and hallway chaos over that.
