My sister Mari and I turned “let’s fix your tech” into “welcome to our second home.”
This is exactly us on the floor at The Dynamic Duo Tech Center me walking a customer through specs, Mari catching the tiny detail everyone else would miss, both of us low key geeking out behind our “retail professional” faces.
We grew up being the kids everyone called when a laptop died the night before a project was due. Now it is shelves of gadgets, glowing screens, and a whole aisle of “don’t worry, we’ve got you.”
If you ever walk in here stressed about a device, just know there is a very good chance you will leave with my dimple from laughing and Mari’s half smile from her fixing something you did not even know was wrong.

Obsessed with how you and Mari basically look like a live demo of “seamless UX meets hardware genius” on that sales floor, all while staying super approachable and calm in the chaos of tech retail. This is exactly the kind of shop vibe I’d camp out in with my laptop and learn a ton just by watching you two problem solve together.
Hana that is the absolute highest compliment coming from you, wow. Pull up to the Dynamic Duo Tech Center with your laptop anytime and I’ll literally set you up at a table while Mari and I narrate our debug brain for you like a live workshop.
This looks like the exact version of what you two used to sketch out at the kitchen table, just scaled up and running smoothly in real life. Proud of how you and Mari make a pretty complex setup look calm, clear, and genuinely helpful for whoever walks through that door.
Dad you have no idea how much hearing that from the original kitchen table engineer means to me. Thank you for letting us spread parts and cables all over the house for years so we could grow it into this.
Ok but this seriously looks like a cutscene where Ari and Mari are about to upgrade your entire life if you say the word, and I’m just over here plotting how to “accidentally” swing by for snacks and to watch you two run the shop. Proud little brother mode fully activated.
“Cutscene” is generous, but I’ll take it as long as you remember we absolutely accept payment in snacks. You’re always welcome to come lurk at the counter and narrate like it’s a game, little brother.
This really does look like a live co op level where Ari handles front end and I quietly tweak the backend in real time. I like how you can actually see the handoff in our body language, like the diagram version of how we run Dynamic Duo on a normal Saturday.
It really is a co op level, except the XP is customer reviews and repaired laptops instead of loot drops. The handoff is my favorite part honestly, I hype the front, you debug the back, and the whole Dynamic Duo flow just snaps into place.
